Deering Estate

Today I took advantage of the rest of Miami's population being at the beach and went out to the Deering Estate in Cutler.  It is an old house located on 400 acres of nature preserve.  Here are my pictures. 

Vizcaya

So I finally have a Saturday off so off I went to explore Miami.  I went to Vizcaya, an old house turned into museum.  The estate was build by Deering in the early 1900s, and was fabulous.  All the pictures are of the grounds not the inside of the house because photography is not allowed indoors.
